Onsite Building Trust Family
We are proud of our team at Onsite Building Trust. Our people make each centre come to life, making a positive impact in the local community every day.
Everyone in our team, from the board to the support staff are dedicated, professional and passionate about our mission.
Let’s meet the family and find out what they do.
Your Community Team
We are supported by a dedicated, professional team of support staff, looking after the maintenance of each centre and the grounds.
Ian has held a number of senior management, directorships and private consultancy roles specialising in the housing sector. He was instrumental in developing Onsite’s rolling five-year business and corporate plan setting out Onsite’s vision, mission and values jointly with the team and board. Since Ian joined Onsite, the charity has increased its portfolio of buildings from four to seven and evolved the business into a more professional outward-facing organisation fortified by a strong partnership with the Local Authority, Police, Health and other partners.

He is also a successful fundraiser having secured £2m from Charitable Trusts to develop and support a variety of activities and projects.

Building Improvement Project Manager & Centre Coordinator
George spent the first twenty years of his career travelling Europe and the Middle East, initially as a Senior Control Engineer then as the General Manager of an electrical and instrumentation company. He successfully grew that business from one man (himself) up to a company employing 240 engineers and tradesmen with a turnover of £8.25 million.
He then returned home to England, and with a chartered architect friend set up an Architectural partnership designing and supervising the construction of domestic, commercial and industrial buildings. After fifteen years of fairly intense activity, both partners decided to wind down, and George began working in the charity sector where in 2009 he took over a Community Centre that was losing more than £120,000 per year from its reserves. Three years later, after considerable cost and waste cutting and concentrating on the more productive areas of the charities operation, it reported an increase of £8,000 in its reserves. His excellent track record means he now leads investment and improvements across all of our centres.
